I had another ultrasound and more blood taken this morning and the results are in. The ultrasound looked good. My lining is thicker and my eggs are growing as well. I have not had anymore bleeding, which we are so thankful for! Due to the fact that I had some irregular bleeding, my Doctor wants to monitor me daily with both ultrasound and blood work. Yesterday's blood draw indicated that my estradiol is rising (good), but there was a small red flag when I had a rise in progesterone as well (not good). Progesterone should stay fairly low during this phase and if it doesn't, my doctor does not want us to continue with egg retrieval. Since I have had abnormal bleeding, he's being more cautious with me and wants us to have the best possible environment for us to continue, which we are totally on board with. Today's blood work revealed that my estradiol has gone up significantly (good) and that my progesterone has stayed constant (very good)! Thank you, Lord!! Egg retrieval will hopefully be either Friday or Saturday morning unless my progesterone increases. Praying that it stays in the normal range...
