A perfect transfer

"Often we'd all like a sign from God that the waiting will render a great reward. And sometimes those signs come. But even when there is no natural sign, the sign of the cross remains. If God could be, and indeed was, active in that most terrible of moments, then we are assured over and over again that there is no moment in our lives when God cannot be active. Add that to Jesus' promise never to leave us, and suddenly the mundane details of life shine with new meaning."

What a day. My doctor called this morning and said that today was definitely the day to transfer our embryos. Little did we know that this would also be the day that the Lord would call my grandpa home to Him. The timing is surreal. God's timing is perfect. Even when we don't understand it completely, God does, and that's enough.

Paul and I are officially parents, until proven otherwise :) I have 2 perfect blastocysts on board and we are praying for them to implant and grow for the next 9 months. We also had 8 other embryos to freeze for the future--Praise the Lord!

My grandpa's memorial service will be on Friday, Oct. 23...the same day as our pregnancy test. We will need to find a lab in MN for my blood draw and then we wait for my doctor to call us with our results. Again, the timing of it all...I know my grandpa would have wanted us to blessed with these miracles.

This song has been swirling in my head for the last week.

Blessed Be Your Name

"Lord, you give and take away.
You give and take away.
My heart will choose to say,
Lord, blessed me Your name."

Thank you, Jesus, for these perfect blessings. We entrust them to you and ask you to breathe life into them, as only you can.
