Out of the 22 eggs retrieved:
*19 were mature
*16 fertilized
We are absolutely thrilled with these results. Thanks be to God for blessing my eggs! Last time I had 20 eggs retrieved, 15 were mature, and 12 fertilized, so we are moving in a positive direction.
I spent the majority of the day/evening yesterday sleeping on our couch. My wonderful husband brought me a pumpkin shake from Burgerville around 2pm and picked up chicken and mashed potatoes for dinner. The cravings are already kicking in :) After no food all day yesterday, chicken and mashed potatoes sounded heavenly.
I'm still in a considerable amount of pain, so I'm taking it easy today, too. However, I did manage to throw on some sweats and a hat, so that I could accompany Paul to Dots Donuts and Tully's for a decaf Americano. Good thing I've got my priorities in order :)
Our next update won't be until Tuesday, so now we patiently wait and pray for strong, healthy embryos to grow. My doctor said my transfer will most likely be on Thursday sometime, but could be as late as Friday morning.
Next update: Tuesday, October, 13th
Transfer: Thursday, October 15th or Friday, October, 16th
Prayer Requests:
*Please pray for healthy, hearty embryos
*My body to heal and prepare to receive them this week
*For my grandpa, Rollie. He has recently been diagnosed with stage 4 renal cancer and is not doing well. He went back into the hospital last night due to a seizure and his brain is quite swollen. He needs Jesus. Pray for coherence and a miracle.
We appreciate your prayers! Thanks for taking this journey with us.
