Today I am 5 weeks into my pregnancy journey~baby(ies) are 3 weeks old. They are about the size of a very small grain of rice. So far, I am feeling pretty good. A little more tired than usual, but nothing too bad. I realize it's still early, though. Nausea typically settles in around 6 weeks, so I figure I have at least another week before those fun times begin! Maybe, just maybe, I'll be one of the lucky ones who gets to skip the whole morning (all-day) sickness?! I read that 80% of pregnant women will experience some form of nausea around 6 weeks through 12 weeks. In the past, I have always been a part of the minority for everything...maybe that pattern will continue? I will embrace whatever as long as our baby(ies) are healthy :) That's my deepest desire.

I had so much fun shopping at Border's the other day! I bought a few books for me and a couple for Paul, the new daddy to be!

We have been reading books to the baby(ies) every night, even before the + pregnancy test :)

This journal is great, it gives daily updates on how the baby is developing

This is one of my favorite picks! Daily pictures of baby and great info about pregnancy. We have been reading this together every night.
Yesterday, I picked up 2 of these soft and cuddly blanket sleep sacks in chocolate brown and sage green for the baby(ies) for them to stay warm and cozy at night :)

We have already received so many thoughtful gifts from our friends, who are so excited for our miracle! Everything from newborn diapers to books to baby socks and blankets to picture frames :) We are so blessed by their kindness!!
In a little less than 2 weeks, we will find out if we have been blessed with one baby or two...and a very, very small chance that there would be 3 and an even smaller chance that there would be 4. We are SO anxious (not in a bad way) to find out how many are in there, but far more anxious to know that whoever is developing inside is HEALTHY AND GROWING :) We will definitely not be disappointed if there is one healthy baby growing, but we are praying that both have implanted and are doing well! Feel free to comment and share your thoughts as to how many you think we have in the oven ;)
We would love continued prayer for this pregnancy to go to term, without any complications, and for healthy baby(ies)! We also would appreciate prayer to trust God's plan for us and to not be fearful of the future.
Lots of love and blessings,
Gretchen, Paul, and the tots
