Not yet...

Looks like this will not be our month to become parents. I took a home pregnancy test on Thursday as requested by my doctor and it was another one-liner (one line=not pregnant, two lines=pregnant). I have yet to see those two beautiful lines! Our hearts ACHE for the day we will see a positive pregnancy test. In fact, I have dreamt a couple times this week of that very day. Even though it is difficult, we are making a conscious choice to put our hope in the Lord despite our results.

Our next step will be to transfer a few of our frozen embryos the week of February 16th. We have 8 blastocyst embryos left! If we are successful in our attempt to postpone my next cycle from starting until at least Sunday or Monday, we should be able to transfer our embryos without suppressing my body beforehand :) That is our prayer, since my body does not do well when we have had to suppress it in the past.

We are also excited to have a very special visitor coming to stay with us Feb. 17-23! Our oldest nephew (14), Zach, is flying out to spend a week with us in the Pacific Northwest! Paul plans to take Zach skiing a couple times, which will be a lot of fun for them. I will probably go and snuggle up in the lodge by the fireplace with some hot cocoa. I'm pretty sure skiing with embryos on board would not be advised by my doctor. At least, that's my excuse for avoiding the cold and any subsequent injuries :)

We will update when we know more in the next several days...love and hugs.
