After that, I had another acupuncture treatment, where she placed approximately 12-15 needles all over my body, including a couple in my ear! Then, I rested quietly in the room with an "eye pillow" (a dry washcloth) covering my eyes, a heat lamp on my belly, all while I listened to a CD of ocean waves. How could I not be relaxed?
So far, my PIO shots are going well. Tonight, I will have 2 intramuscular shots (PIO and Delestrogen), thus the headline "the day I became a human pin cushion".
Did I mention that my sister is coming to stay with us this Thursday for 6 days?! It will be really special to have her here for the transfer. I will be on bedrest on Friday after the transfer and all day Saturday, so we will likely rent some movies and camp out in our living room.
I think that's it for now. I don't have any more appointments until our big day on Friday at 12:30. The actual transfer is scheduled for 1:15. We are so excited :)
Love, P & G

Praying for you guys!!!
ReplyDeleteJason and I are lifting you both and the embryos up in prayer! I can't imagine the depth of emotions you are feeling as you anticipate Friday and the days that follow. I pray that the next post is full of joy in a successful procedure! Praise the Lord for the medical knowledge to allow these procedures to even occur. Our prayers are with you!
