Upcoming dates

We are just 2 weeks away from beginning our 2nd IVF adventure! Here are some details about what is coming up and when. We would love to have your prayer support as these things progress.

Friday, Sept. 18th--begin daily Lupron shots that will continue until egg retrieval. Lupron is a suppressant that will turn off my pituitary gland so that my body will only respond to the stimulation shots once those begin.

Monday, Sept. 28th--Suppression check at 9:00am, ultrasound and blood work. If my body has adequately suppressed, I will begin my stimulation shots to start growing multiple eggs in both ovaries.

Thursday, Oct. 1st--blood work to monitor my estradiol levels

Monday, Oct. 5th--ultrasound and blood work. This will be the first peak at how many eggs I have growing and my Dr. will have a good idea of when egg retrieval will be based on the size of my follicles. The follicles are the sacs that house the eggs.
